Steve Whitaker
Steve brings over 15 years of Pilates teaching experience to The Body Reflex, with a deep commitment to the Classical Pilates method. For the past decade, he has focused on the original movement system developed by Joseph Pilates nearly 100 years ago, emphasizing precise, connected, and flowing movements designed to build powerhouse (core) strength, balance, and body awareness.
In addition to Pilates, Steve offers more than 35 years of experience as a personal trainer and instructor in Tai Chi/Qigong, Barre, Yoga, and a variety of cardio, strength, and conditioning disciplines. His diverse background allows him to create thoughtful, well-rounded programs that support strength, mobility, posture, and overall wellness.
